Now I know there is all kinds of uses for oil ... but I am not talking about the oil that keeps your car running ! No sir, these are natural, essential oils obtained from natural, organic plants and flowers and things.
After killing all those nasty little bacterii, and swishing the Sole solution through your mouth, the fun part starts! There are an array of oils available each with their own healing properties and perhaps a combination of these give maximum protection for the teeth.
I started by using peppermint oil, because that is all I had in my stash. So, I put a few drops on my toothbrush and worked it carefully into my mouth, taking care to brush downward from the gums. I also gave extra-special attention to the tooth that was giving me some problems.
Three days on this routine and any niggles disappear. Now, I simply maintain this routine and it keeps any infections at bay.
I found a wonderful combination of oils at my local Health Food Store. It is a product produced by Dr Vogel called Neem Oil and is recommended for skin disorders, but I put a few drops on my toothbrush and afterwards rinse my mouth carefully.
I have also heard from others who have had wonderful results, toothaches disappear and cavities healed, so I would happily recommend this routine to anyone who is concerned about the general well-being and health of their teeth.
Shalom until next time,
Salome

Your Teeth and Minerals
The African people know something about minerals. Whenever we went to the seaside, they always asked that we bring back a bottle of sea water which they would then consume over a period of weeks - one little bit at a time.
It was only about 4, maybe 5 years ago that I found out how important it is for our health and well-being to replace lost minerals in our bodies.
I was introduced to a mineral-dense solution called "Sole", which is made by dissolving Himalayan Rock Salt in pure, distilled water until the salt crystals do not dissolve anymore. That means the solution is stable and saturated. We take one teaspoon a day, add it to a little bit of water and swig it down fast.
Believe me, it tastes just like sea water! Yugh! But .... it replaces the minerals that your body loses naturally loses (some through sweating, some through the kidneys and some just because our soil is so minerally depleted now.
I started struggling with cramps in my lower legs about 6 years ago. I remembered that salt water in hot countries replaced the lost minerals. Now, important: I am not talking about the bleached, useless substance that most people call table salt.
No! I am talking about the real thing. We use Himalayan Rock Salt, which is beautifully pink, but there are other mineral rich salts on the market. The moment I start experiencing cramps, I go back on the routine and take Sole for a few days et voila! Results.
Now, back to my daily tooth routine ... After rinsing with Hydrogen Peroxide, I swish the Sole Solution through my mouth thoroughly to restore the pH balance in my mouth, and also for the mineral content which is good for teeth!
Now I have a happy set of gnashers! Bacteria that causes toothache gone - Check. Mineral balance restored - check.
Next time ... I want to look at how essential oils can benefit and restore my tooth health.
Until then,
Peace!

Destroying Dental Toxicity
I've always been proud of my teeth - strong, healthy, straight .... never had to wear braces etc etc. Until about 6 years ago, just after I had heart surgery, when my dentist informed me I needed a root canal.
Who was I to question him? After all, he is the dentist, and I am the patient. Right? WRONG!
After years of coping with heart failure at the age of only 38, and fighting to regain my health and vitality, I am convinced that we have a responsibility to take care of our own health and well-being. Thank God for the doctors, because without their help I probably wouldn't be here today, but they are trained to treat disease, and I need to find health and well-being!
I found out last year that anti-biotics cannot cure anaerobic bacteria. It might control them for a while, but they keep on prolificating and eventually your body's immune system gets weaker and weaker and the nasties get stronger and stronger. So how did I solve the problem?
A good friend mentioned Hydrogen Peroxide. Now if you are like me, I immediately had visions of fake blondes and bad hair. But that is not the stuff I am talking about. I sourced 3% Foodgrade Hydrogen Peroxide from Amazon.com and started rinsing my mouth with it after I had brushed my teeth.
It took 3 weeks, but the pain finally went - which meant the infection was under control! When they finally removed the tooth, they found no infection whatsoever!
I would recommend this for emergency treatment of infections only, because the H2O2 can be harsh on the tooth enamel.
Next time I will share with you how to keep the tooth enamel strong, and keep a healthy mineral balance in your body.
Until then,
Blessings.

It's Been a While!
So it's been a while, but here I am again ... with some news that I believe can help someone out there.
Last year I had a problem with a tooth that required anti-biotics every four weeks. Now, normally, I would say a very BIG no to anti-biotics, but I was getting sicker and sicker as time went by.
It turned out I had an infected root canal which was poisoning my system. It made me look into the toxicity of what is accepted as standard practice amongst most ordinary dentists. What I found will turn your stomach!
Root canals are a hotbed of infection, and because it houses an-aerobic bacteria, they beaver away in your oral cavity, and get straight into your bloodstream. From here the infection is spread to your heart and kidneys and eventually could prove fatal if not properly treated.
It took 9 months before I had the offending gnasher surgically removed and several months for my battered body to recover from the infection, but here I am, fit as a fiddle and ready to share my newfound knowledge with the blog-o-sphere.
In my next post I intend to share some vital information and my new cleansing routine with you, so hold on to your britches ... it is going to be a ride and a half...
Until then,
Shalom
